Now starting to bulk up a bit, as is needful with these small flowered things ; one or two flowering growths just look weedy and boring, but a mass at least this big, preferably much bigger, can be pretty good ( IMHO ! ). It can be a difficult plant since it keeps producing keikis which flower , so is best mounted. I'm not sure that this slab of cork is the best surface, but I am scared of trying to get it off to put on something else - apart from which I cannot decide what might be better. I Have seen them grow well on moss poles, but in fact I bought two plants - this is one, the other identical, I put one on a moss pole, and it has languished, is not even in flower at all. I believe it comes from Costa Rica among other places ; I once collected a plant near Arenal Volcano, which I was sure was this, but it turned out to be a very weird orchid - a horse maxillaria, not worth growing.
