With the heat outside is not easy to keep my phals cool. It is for the first time I get a flower like this.

One wouldn't say this flower is an orchid at all....
I can only say that for me here in South Florida my phaleanopsis finish blooming by April before the heat arrives. Nice big colorful bloom.
You would call that a 'peloric' flower. Was it a normal flower when it was last in bloom?
If so, as I understand it, can mean that it was due to environment and not genetic.
odd shape, but I would agree with Harvey.
but still odd and unique...NICE!!!!
It was normal when I bought it and all the other flowers look normal. So think it was the environment.
