Paph IQ Test

Ok, this is going to be easy for the regular Paph heads, so let's open it up to others. Hoa, Diane, Tim, Jason, and Heather can't guess. (Although I do expect the requisite ooo's and aaah's from you all!) Others, please feel free give it a try!

This is a first bloom for me, and there are two more buds to go (one beginning to open.) It's a primary hybrid, which means both parents are species. And for a big fat hint, the pink pouch comes from both parents...

Here are a couple of Web sites where you can look at species Paph photos. That definitely helps! Ask any questions you want in this thread, but if you want to guess the identity of our girlie pink Paph, private message me, so the others still have a chance to work it out for themselves.

Note that this hybrid is multi-floral. Only several sub-genera of Paphs produce more than one flower, which means at least one parent was of the sub-genera of: Corypetalum, Pardalopetalum, or Cochlopetalum.

With these two links and our big, fat hints, even my mother (if interested) could work this out, or get close. So...enjoy!
