Katie gave me this Blc. Yen Corona 'Green Genii' last year.
It is a relatively compact catt and produces vividly colored flowers towards winter.
Something happened to this plant last summer where almost all mature pseudobulbs just yellowed up and died.
So there are only a couple of healthy new growths and a couple of leafless pseudobulbs on the plant and the flowers are understandably a little distressed compared to that they should look like.
It also bloomed way ahead of schedule. Last time this plant produced flower buds late in November and the flowers fully opened before Christmas.
