    Default Tillandsia fasciculata and utriculata in bloom

    These Tillandsia fasciculata and utriculata also called Cardinal Air Plants and Giant Wild Pine are all over my neighborhood. The last picture is the Tillandsia utriculata and it is the largest species of bromeliads in Florida. here are a few different 1's in bloom.

    Yikes, they are huge. Definitely not for the wondowsill grower then Good to see them growing in the wild, thanks for the pictures.

    Nice! We get the little ones around here, although you can buy the bigger ones at the box stores.
