thanks brucesee the photos came out great!
Beautiful Jordan, I like the most photos with droplets, they are great!
thanks Branka, have you heard of Ladys Mantle? It is now a rather obselete herb, but that is what the Alchemila is, plus it divides VERY redily, about 3 weeks to strike roots however, but it has very nice sprays of fine yellow flowers. Keep an eye out, and look it up for its uses.
Alchemila mollis is a very nice semi-shade plant here in midwestern USA. I sell them as companion plants for hosta. A friend of mine is a wedding planner and she made men's wedding flowers for their coats out of the Lady's Mantle flower. There is a fairly recent introduction that is much smaller than the species with the same flowers. It starts readily from seed as well. I really appreciate the shots with the beaded water. I have never had a bug problem with them either.
bugs aren't a problem here too, the only problems i have is spiders constructing ground hugging webs under the lower leaves! YUCK
Dahlia Unnamed...any ideas?
And what IS this? i found it at the Zoo and just HAD to snap a picture!
