    thanks Branka, have you heard of Ladys Mantle? It is now a rather obselete herb, but that is what the Alchemila is, plus it divides VERY redily, about 3 weeks to strike roots however, but it has very nice sprays of fine yellow flowers. Keep an eye out, and look it up for its uses.

    Alchemila mollis is a very nice semi-shade plant here in midwestern USA. I sell them as companion plants for hosta. A friend of mine is a wedding planner and she made men's wedding flowers for their coats out of the Lady's Mantle flower. There is a fairly recent introduction that is much smaller than the species with the same flowers. It starts readily from seed as well. I really appreciate the shots with the beaded water. I have never had a bug problem with them either.

    bugs aren't a problem here too, the only problems i have is spiders constructing ground hugging webs under the lower leaves! YUCK
