I have read several of the beginner phal posts on here, but still have a question...
Can I repot when phal is in bloom? I have had this phal since June and figured since the leaves/blooms look great, that meant the roots were fine too. Took a look today and.... Not so much. Most of the roots look very dried out. Leaves are feeling softer too. I see at least 3 good, firm, green/gray roots. The rest are dry, brown, crinkly.
I've watered him with 3 ice cubes once a week since June (my others too, and they look fantastic all around), I guess that's not enough? So I know I need to repot, cut dead roots back, give it some root treatment.... But can I do that while it's still in bloom? It has 11 blooms and 1 bud. Has dropped 3 flowers in last 3 weeks.
