Should I Repot this slipper orchid?

I just purchased a phragmapedium "sunspot" and it came in sphagnum moss. The plant is in excellent shape and has lots of strong roots. However, I've never had success with moss in my house (I grow under lights in Pennsylvania) and the rest of my phrags are in bark mix. Should I repot?

Yes, I would repot it now into the mix you are accustomed to growing your orchids in so that you can maintain your normal watering schedule. Looks like a really nice orchid!

On another note, I bought myself a paph michael koopowitz for Christmas. Do they require different care than other paphs?

It needs more light than say a vini paph, but no, not really much difference. We keep our strap-leaf paphs in brighter light than the other paphs. Good choice!!
