Transparent spots

Hi! I have a problem with my phalaenopsis. I have the plant for one year. About 3 months ago I noticed transparent round spots on the leaves. They were not really big, and I havent seen them growing in size. Recently they spread and now many leaves are covered with them. Most of the spots have dots in the centre and only two have small cracks. And also some of the nearby phals have the same issue.
The leaves have normal turgor and don’t have other symptoms. I will appreciate some information about the cause of these spots.
There are no red mites under the leaves, recently checked for them.

Your english is just fine, but somebody was hungry! Snails, or some other type of "sucking" insect or vermon has had lunch....or dinner at your expense. You can start bu trying to separate your plants and place apple slices on the tops of the media and see what you find the next morning. Next, wash the leaves with Physan or something like that...some advocate Liserine mouth wash, but I have no personal experience with this, since I use RD-20 which is the same as Physan.

If you do have some insect issue you may want to try neem oil.

For snails....put a penny in the pot. If that is the culprit you will soon find a gooey glob with two eyes floating in the goo soon after. It may also be scale....if you try an insecticide, make sure and keep the plant out of direct light for a couple days. The oils in the stuff will bake the leaves.

Hi! Thank you very much for responses. I have an insecticide, which is available in my country, I havent tried it yet but heard that it should work fine.

I would try neem oil if that is available, that is more natural and safer than chemical pesticides

It doesn't. It prevents the snails and slugs from getting on the plant because they don't like the copper in the pennies. Problem is there "ain't" much copper in US pennies any more!

Reference: Pennies made after 1943 contain a fair bit of steel, and far less copper than you'd think (as steel is cheaper).

Copper supposedly reacts with the slug's natural secretions to help deliver a mild electrical shock. Garden stores sell mesh and disks.
