This is another free-loader who came home from Florida with me along with 4 other catts.... Geez, you'd think I had a rodent infestation!

Now that IS a serious infestation! You had better send this one down to me to keep an eye on. Reduce some of the strain on those new babies that came home with you! lol!

I bet that would have followed me home as well, if one of those didn't already follow me home 2 years ago, LOL.

Mighty pretty purle one you have there. With all this orchid following going on there will be a congregation soon.

    What a beauty!

How did you bring them home? Did you check them as luggage? We are going to Hawaii in June, I might do some orchid shopping there, but not sure how to bring them home. I guess I could always ask vendor to ship them for me.

Isn't this one great, Howard? Mine has yet to bloom, but I have Mem. Robert Strait 'Blues' also. It is very similar and fragrant. Is 'Blue Hawaii' fragrant?

Fragrant and how!!!!! Is your 'Blues' of similar color...or hasn't it flowered for you, yet?

No, I made my wife sit with them on her lap...since they are under 2 we didn't have to pay for a ticket and she always has taken care of the KIDS so I thought it would be a natural for her to take care of these orchids!

Seriously, we drove 'cause I like to drive and it's too much of a hassle to bring stuff like this on a plane if you can't have it packed properly

'Blues' flowered for me the first time last fall. It is very similar and has a wonderful fragrance too. Here's a pic.
