Default It DOES have fragrance! clamshell orchid

I like the smell! My last one that croaked did not have a fragrance (even before it croaked). I love this clamshell orchid.

I love these flowers. I'm glad this one seems to be happier than the first one was.

It is Encyclia 'Green Hornet'. I think cochleada is in the name also, or maybe that's what it used to be called. Not sure. Help, anyone?

Enc Green Hornet is a primary hybrid of Enc cochleatum X lancifolium
But with the name changes, It is now Prosthechea Green Hornet and lancifolium is now Prosthechea cochleata var. cochleata and Enc choleatum is Prosthechea cochleata

Thanks, Ron!! Can you tell me how to pronounce Prosthechea? I wish the orchid books would include the phonetic pronunciation. Does anyone no a resource for that?

I am not sure if I am right, but I read that cochleada is the parent of 'Green Hornet' and is not fragrant?!
