BLC (Aloha Case x Hunting Island) 'Carmela'

I got this last spring in bloom and here it is again. The colors are more intense and a bit darker than appears from the photo. It's a mini-catt.

Good color, especially the lip. If you would like to update your tag, the cross was registered in 2007 and it is now Rlc. Robert and Michael 'Carmela'

Originally registered as a Blc. (Brassolaeliocattleya), a combination of Brassavola x Laelia x Cattleya. The classification has changed for several of the species in the background of this hybrid, at least as far as hybrid registration is concerned. The Laelia species involved are now considered Cattleya, and the Brassavola is a Rhyncholaelia, so this is Rhyncholaelia x Cattleya, Rhyncholaeliocattleya, Rlc.
