My trip to orchid heaven Lancut !!!!!

Hi ! I had one of the most fantastic orchid experience of my life. I visited Krakow for a few days, my trip to Krakow was partly due to the beautiful old city but most importantly to see the Orchid house at Lancut (pronounced Winesoot in Polish, it was such fun buying the tickets at the station, as I knew no Polish and the ticket lady knew no English or German, finally I had to write down it for her LOL). As you all know from the beautiful pictures already that the orchid house is manged and run by our very own Danuta from orchid talk. I have no words to describe the health and beauty of the plants from the collection. Danuta has put soo much effort into the place. Her knowledge and experience is both overwhelming and inspirational. It was very kind of her to receive me in Lancut, drive me to the castle and the orchid house. I spent the entire day at Lancut. Danuta also organised a friend of hers from the castle to interpret for both of us and tour me the beautiful baroque castle and the fantastic royal carriage collection. Thanks Danuta for this amazing day. I hope that one day I will start my very own botanical garden in India and you will visit it. Now let the pictures do the talking.
