This is one of my favorite orchids. It is one of the first I bought when I decided to expand my interest beyond phals. It reliably blooms for me every Jan/Feb with several clusters of 3 to 5 blooms. It decided to suprise me with a June bloom this year. Granted it is only one cluster of two blooms but it still brings me pleasure. I also like it because the blooms are long lasting.

Very nice. I've oft been tempted to buy one but they get too tall for my space.

Thank you . One nice thing is that they bloom while they are still small. You could grow it until it got too large for you and then take a start and sell or trade the larger plant. Where there is a will there is a way. LOL

    Bill,
Very interesting and unusual color combination.
First time I did see this kind of Epicattleya.
Do you know the parents of this cross. Can't find it on the www.

Hi Horst, it is a French name so it has these colons like the German epsilons, here is the link to the parentage from the RHS site

Such lovely colors - the green is SO green, the yellow is SO yellow, and the pink - Wow!! I can see why it's a favorite - and then you got the bonus flowers in June. Woo-hoo!
