Need help from experts to identify two problems:
1) Tip of my Cat leaf is black and dry
2) Phal leaf is yellow on top but funky looking on bottom. Virus, Fungus, or just thrips????
Please help identify! I am afraid it can be contagious.

hmm, i would say you have spider mite or false spider mite problem on your Phal.
Spider mites on the phal is my guess. Maybe fertilizer burn on the cattleya leaves, but spray with a fungicide just in case.

The cattleya looks like fertilizer burn to me too.
Spider mites on your phals and chemical or sun-burn on your catts.
Agree with everyone above.
Ya use neem oil or recommended miticides.
Fertiliser burn without a doubt.
As to the phalaenopsis, my diagnosis would be get rid of it and stop worrying about what it is !
