Tonight I burnt the Swiss army knife on the gas flame, hacked off the flower spikes, then polished the leaves with cotton wool and milk. Hope it enjoys

Obviously it does a phal good. Your phal looks very healthy

I've actually moved the plants into another room because the boy keeps fiddling with them and now they're out of sight and mind they're growing much faster and stronger! Weird. It's like they don't like being watched (too much pressure.)

Nice shiny leaves! It is true what you said about them not being able to perform with an audience. I stopped looking for a spike on my mini phal about four days ago and today I noticed in the place where the spike comes from a new root or shoot
