Dockrillia teretifolia

Does anybody grow Den. teretifolium (Dockrillia teretifolia)?
I've bought my plant about two years ago. It seems to be happy and grows well but did not bloom yet. I wonder from where flower buds appear. Can anyone show a picture, so I will know what to expect.

You should look for 1-1/2" spidery white flowers with fine purple spots basally. The current nom du jour with Kew is Dendrobium teretifolium. IOSPE PHOTOS

Actually, I asked about buds when they first emerge. I found many pictures of blooming plants online, but none of them showed buds when they just appear.
We have very strong sun here in Florida at least 350 days a year, so I have to cover my growing area with a few layers of screen.I can give more light if I remove the plant from the growing area. Maybe put it next to my terete Vandas.

My guess is more light is needed. Our Dockrillia wassellii puts out a tiny little spike(s) with great little blooms. Seeit at that link. It has grown so much now and the p-bulbs are much more plump.

Perhaps you could ease it into brighter conditions instead of simply full sun? I would hate for your plant to get sunburn.

I usually move them a jump at a time. If you do it too fast...(and you can see from looking at my Zul why to do it slow lol) you will get big ugly burns on your leaves.

Natali, the plant on the left, do you think it's an Dockrillia? Looks for me like an Epidendrum hybrid, which never bloom. Also in my greeenhouse

if you speak about the first picture, the answer is yes, this is Den. teretifolium (Dockrillia teretifolia). The plant is in the center of the picture. Brassavola fragrans is on its right. I will try to take a better picture of my plant tomorrow.
