Not sure what's wrong with my orchid

I have a mini Phalaenopsis that appears to have these water bumps that started on one leaf and has now appeared on all of it's leaves. When I hold my orchid up to the light, where the water bumps are located, it appears to be translucent. As in, there are light spots right where the water bumps are located. The spots began when I got back my orchid from the florist (I previously had no experience with re-potting an orchid, so my florist offered to do it for me). So I am assuming that these spots may be linked to getting it re-potted at the florist? I have never had any issues with pests or infections with my orchids, and I have had this mini-orchid for just over a year now. I have separated my mini-orchid from the rest of plants in fear that they too may catch/infect whatever this may be. But just today I noticed that one of my other orchids appears to also have a tiny little translucent bump.

Are those bumps firm, or are they mushy??

I think it may be scale. Look for neem oil & spray it according to directions...Betty

May be scale - I too would treat as Betty suggests. Also don't overwater. Good luck!!

I'm not sure if it has scale or not, should i just tread it like it does?
I did some googling on scale, and I don't think my phal has it. My phal seems to have hard water bumps that have developed on all of its' leaves. In the third picture I can see where it might look like scale, but the dark lines are where the lumps have split a little and cracked along the top.

Yep, we are unanimous ! You could also use rubbing alcohol, just dilute it 1:1 and using a cotton swab wipe the affected leaves.

Hi I tried using the rubbing alcohol approach and the bumps seemed to have increased since last time. My other phals also seem to have a few more bumps as well...





I hope you can help me figure this out.
