Have you tried white wine instead of red.? Red very heavy and makes me idiotically break new spikes. Curse that red.!

The time has come to say that you are the *Vandaceous Queen! of Florida* Clocked this plant recently in a duo and temptation still looms, shining bright infact, love the Renanthera monachica also bet youll be showing off the blooming Trichoglottis Phil. Brach soon. no?. 'Young plants' advertised av. $10 approx currency convert from Euro. How long with good care would your rough guess estimation be for first spike on young renenthera.

Hey Matt...I've never been a queen before I saw an entire section of monachica in bloom on small plants at my species guy. I waited a long time on the citrina. Moved it around and finally found a place it liked in very high light. My Trichoglottis bloomed on a small plant. But it only blooms once a year for me. The Trichoglottis is much faster growing than the Renanthera. But the Ren. produced offsets pretty easily.

Love it! How tall is your plant? I have a small plant(~4" tall) and I was told it should be a BS plant.
