Wow...cannot wait to see the pictures when they all bloom!
I thought you were going to post your dancing video?! Just kidding.
I cannot wait to see them, either.
Geez, talk about being a pain, I can't get a Ren' of any sort big enough that a sneeze wouldn't blow away in an instant over here, not without taking a personal loan from the bank. Well done.
Oh they look amazing !! Well done I hear Renantheras can be a pain in the ....... Keep us updated with the blooms.
I am happy for you Cathy. I look forward to seeing the Renanthera blooms. My Renanthera Twin Star has two more developing leaves going in 2012 and new thick roots, but no spike yet. You have got some beautiful Vandas there and they looked lined up like soldiers (ready to bloom on command of course). I have at least five Vandas/Vandaceous orchids in spike also my most ever at once so I am a happy camper at the moment too. AL
I didn't know this species would get that tall/big..., I was told this species would bloom when it was only 3" tall. Can't wait to see my little one to do something like that.
Well done for a double spike Cathy - my plant has but one - althougth the flower count goes up every time - four branches this time, and I believe I can count about 50 buds ; first flowers due to open tomorrow - more or less, but I'll wait until there are a good few out to post. I have three or four other (Ren') species and primary hybrids just a few days/weeks behind - where I can count buds but no flowers open yet.
I spent the day repotting half of my big Vandas - quite a few spikes there including a fair few doubles; I hope my repotting activities encourage them rather than the converse !
I have not yet started on the line where the Rennys hang yet, got a lot of little stuff to do when I resume , maybe mid-2week - Neofinetias, some small seedling Vandas etc... non-stop at this time of the year !.
