Short leaf on Vanda coerulea -problem?

I got my first ever Vanda a few months back and it is growing well lots of roots and sub roots and even a constant supply of leaves however, the most recently matured leaf is about two cm shorter than the other leaves that have finished growing. Is this indicative of some sort of deficiency? I read somewhere that it meant something but I can no longer find the link The leaves area a healthy colour -greeny yellow. I hope that it is fine but I just want to make sure.

It is the top leaf on the right hand side. It is really short and the bracket is almost visible inside the neck of the stem. Once it has grown I would imagine that it will add an extra 1cm to the overall length but it is still going to be a shorter leaf than the others.

Hi Susie dont worry your vanda is ok through my experience in the wild the character of the leaves is influence by light the less light they receive the leaves getting longer always happen in the wild when receive more light it will behaving as what you said above, if I have time I will take photograph in late noon.

P1- Vanda foetida, P2 Vanda ? hindsii P3 Vanda species you can see as they grow the upper leaves getting shorter and wider.
