    Gabriela, not only was this good for beginners to see, but people like myself, who have grown orchids for a long time. If nothing else, it reminds all of us that it takes time to develop a beautiful orchid flower! Thank you for taking the time to do this, and post it on the forum. Betty

    thank you Betty, i appreciate your kind words. I am just thinking of my suspence when i noticed the little spike and how long it takes to develop into the beautiful bloom. i have more pictures in between but the site only lets you post 4 of them.

    Just wanted to give you an update to Epilaeliocattleya Jackie Bright Hilo Stars still blooming. The yellow has gotten much lighter but still pretty.

    Pick one of these up the other day not in bloom. I look forward to the long wait if my plant flowers anything like this!
