Second Bloom for my Phrag. Peruflora's Spirit

Not sure what happened last time when I posted the first bloom on this Phrag. (tiny photo, I mean), but I'm deliberately doing a separate post for the second bloom for 2 reasons:

1) It's a prettier bloom, and

2) I'm thinking about taking it to judging on Saturday. I know the plant is not technically at its peak (i.e., some blooms and more to come), but this only opened a week ago, and I am very taken with it. It's the prettiest one of all 6 I've bloomed - in every way - and the color here is exactly from the original shot - I didn't have to change anything but the exposure, slightly. The plant itself is very healthy, too - I'll pi don't want to bring in a ost a full photo as soon as I have time. But I'm off to shoot pool - the team is expecting me, so please - I'd love some feedback on this. Oh, and according to my non-updated OWiz, it hasn't been awarded at all yet.

Please let me know what y'all think - I don't want to bring in an orchid that doesn't meet minimum standards. BTW, it's 6" across natural width.

It's beautiful!! I've never had orchids judged so I don't have an opinion on that but I sure do like it.

Love the form and the colour. I don't know much about phrags but send in for judging by all means. You might be pleasantly surprised. Even if you don't win an award the judges' comments and recommendations would be very useful for future showings.

Thanks for the input, everyone - I AM going to take it unless something happens between now and tomorrow at 12:00 - knowing phrags, I may well come into the living room in the morning to discover that the bloom is now on the floor.

It is a very beautiful phrag but for judging you should try your luck...personally I wouldn't bother...from the photo the dorsal sepal is a bit mishapen and the symmetry of the petals leaves much to be desired..may just be the photo..in the flesh it may not be so

Gorgeous! I've seen those at shows and just love them. If I ever come across something similar at my local nursery I may just buy it. They are so pretty....
