First - a response to catttan's last message on my TalkTalk thread:

SO good to hear from you, Yew! I'm so scattered and so busy these days that I haven't kept up any of my internet connections - I'm hoping this will change soon. Sorry to hear you're having rotten weather - it got unusually cold here mid-month - hence the emergency greenhouse on my living room floor. I suppose it's time to feed the birds now.

It's a VERY bright color, but the second bloom looks to be pinker - photo to come.
