A great growing plant & flowers well.

nice colors on the petals . is it fragrant?
Has a nice fragrance.
Lovely
Very pretty!
Nice Encyclia flower form. Interesting how some traits (in this case flower form) can be so strongly dominant in crosses. Don't think I've ever seen a Catt X Enc cross in which the enc's flower form did not dominant completely (or close to it).

Lovely, Roy. I always associate "Burdekin" with Blc. Burdekin Wonder, one of which I attempted to rescue from a nursery that had set an 8" clay pot specimen-sized plant on the ground, in the back. It was very early in my orchid travels - I can't remember exactly what happened to it, but, when I brought it home, it had several buds, but also more than several bugs! So, I cleaned it up and repotted it, and waited to see if everyone's prediction that I would lose the blooms would occur. I believe it did bloom and is posted here somewhere.
Sorry - that was a serious digression. Your lovely bloom fascinates me as I have begun to collect more and more Enc. hybrids, in contemplation of moving further south - as soon as the fighting (not including me) over Phillip's estate ceases.
Please excuse my I attention or laziness, but what is the cross here? I love it.

Beautiful!!
Maura, any orchid that the name starts with Burdekin was created by one grower. The results he achieved have been outstanding. Mostly anything with Burdekin in the clonal name is worth having.

I have to make some crosses with Epidendrums and Encyclias!
Your Catyclia is inspiring me.
