I got these last two from Martin Motes in December. He was a speaker at the Short Course in Lafayette, La. He was selling a lot of these mini Vandas. Several crosses had testacea, ampullacea, and christensoniana. Probably more of these than the larger ones. I suspect that this is the future of Vanda breeding. I didn't know what testacea looked like until you posted it. The light yellow with purple lip is a great color combination (LSU colors). Nor had I seen christensoniana until Cervantes posted his plant. Both species are really nice. I don't know why I've never seen them for sale. Hopefully my hybrid will grow into an impressive plant in a few years. It's so small right now. I'm surprised it bloomed.
