This is my second Paph ciliolare and I have to say, I really like the chocolateness of the pouch of this particular clone of the species... fairly easy to grow.. usual morning light and bright filtered rest of the day, has withstood 7 celsius (maybe less for short periods of time) but kept dryer during cold winter.
Paph ciliolare is endemic to the Philippines. This species has been in European cultivation since 1882. The name ciliolare comes from the latin word cilium which expresses the hairs on the edges of the petals as can be seen on the next photo.
cheers
