this particular catasetum is a easy flowering catasetums, and below there is a close up on the pic of the lip, where it get its name, resembling "growths on the tongue" if my memory serves me correctly.

Rainy spells is here in Malaysia and basically for those who are keeping catasetums outdoor with heavy load of spahgnum moss, especially those near mature bulbs and dormant plant, this would be a disadvantage to them.
