Hi everyone. Here is my plan of action. I bought a mini phal at a box store. When I got it home, the petals were drooping even though the moss was wet. When I removed it from the moss, there was a lot of root damage, so I cut the dead roots off leaving about 3 long roots and 3 or 4 smaller roots and repotted it in new bark. It has been setting for about a week. This weekend, I plan to soak the remaining roots in dilute bleach (1/4 cup to a gallon of water) for about ten minutes. Do I rinse off the bleach water or just let it air dry? Next, I have sulphur to dip the roots in, so while the roots are wet, I will dip them in sulphur. Now, do I use rooting hormone or do I just repot it in orchid bark (mix) that has been soaking overnight?
