Orchid trip
I was jealous of folks like Canh and Zain being able to go to the forest to see orchids in-situ. I tried doing the same. Though, to be honest I have only gone to the Western Ghats region in South India along with Deepak (raindeepak4u) to see them in-situ around the roads and coffee plantations. Did not really get deep into the forest this time. Maybe another time. Saw some 15+ species of Aerides, Dendrobium, Vanda, Pholidota, Bulbophyllum, Coelogyne, Rynchostylis retusa, Oberonia and few unknown species.. Still dry season. Rains should start sometime soon now.
