Sedirea Japonica- 1st Blooming

Finally, this spike has matured and bloomed. I first found this spike forming on March 13th.

I don't think this orchid has bloomed before. No nubs to be found.

Interestingly to me, this one seems to open all the buds, 4 of them this time, simultaneously. It took 4 days to get as open as they are today. But they are all open about the same amount.

It is quite fragrant. But I have not figured out how to describe it yet. Not unpleasant but not sweet either.
