Quite an interesting hybrid this . Beaufort is luiteola (Cattleya) x Sophronitis ( now cattleya) coccinea. Usually Beaufort is yellow, and a better shape than this - but - this was made using a yellow coccinea instead of the usual red. Now I would have expected the result to be yellow just like the regular Beaufort, but no, as you see here. In real life there is a streak of brilliant red along the edges of the lip, both sides and end, and the flower otherwise started off yellow, then started to change to the colours here seen as it aged. Not large flowers of course just over 2 inches . But will be an interesting plant as it grows one, I think.
