What is your best, easiest bloomer?

I was thinking about some of the earlier polls we've had, and came up with an idea I thought maybe we all might enjoy.....

Do you have an orchid that, while it may not be your favorite, it just has been a faithful grower, bloomer and a plant you would recommend anyone to buy one for a collection. If you have a picture of the bloom to post with it, or if you have a picture of the plant, maybe you could post that with it.

I'll start....May 2007, I bought a baggie baby called Bc. LittleMarmaid 'Janet'. It has become a well established plant and is getting ready to bloom for a second time since I've had it. It's one of the easiest plants to bloom I've ever had.

I dont have a current picture, but will post one as soon as it's buds bloom that are currently developing.

Mine would have to be Oncidium Gower Ramsey. It is neglected...watered sporadically and hardly ever fed. It blooms 2-3 times a year with little yellow dancing ladies. In my opinion, this would be "THE beginner orchid"..not a Phal.

My Lc. Tokyo Magic grows like weed. It's doubled the number of p-bulbs since last July 2007. Just waiting for the first earned bloom. It's growing in circles too so no need to repot as much (unless the bark has gone belly-up). It's the only one that didn't have any shrivelled leaves after I found out I had grossly underwatered most of my collection (just didn't want to kill anything anymore because of overwatering). Its yellow bloom with purple-ish lip and the wonderful fragrance (not sure how to describe) is just wonderful.

It has to be my Phal Flarespots. It's very rarely out of flower, and survived being my first chid!

Psychopsis Kahili 'Big'. Water once a week and forget it, 3 spikes, flowers look like beautifyl butterflies and are often over 7" tall, continually in bloom.

Well I would have to say my Ascocenda Princess Mikasa 'Pink' it is always in bloom .. Gin

I'm so glad I asked this one...that last flower, the Mikassa Pink is one of my new acquisitions. I'm doing my happy dance, now if I can just get it healthy, it's a rescue.

My blue Princess Mikasa is always in either in bloom or in spike without any special conditions, probably the easiest plant I've ever owned. At the moment it's spiking for the 6th time since I got it in March last year.

My Prosthechea cochleata is always in flower with at least one spike and several flowers and my Psychopsis also flowers every few weeks, both with no special care required.

Encyclia cochleata is my old faithful. My first and toughest little baby.

My easiest, most reliable bloomer so far is Onc. Tsiku Marguerite (Twinkle x ornithorhychum). It's been a great confidence builder.
