    interesting name. no way it is poor!

    I am no expert. Maybe it is a Neomarica longifolia? Though this species is not native to the phillipines, maybe transplanted into the garden?

    yes, you were right, its the one.
    i guess the spaniards introduced it to the philippines some 300 years ago.
