    I love bonsai! Cool pictures marissa. I tried bonsai once in college; we did a workshop in hort club that involved making bonsai...but its pretty hard. It requires thinking about how you want the plant to look in the future, and staking and trimming and all this thought, I was like, I could never be a good bonsai pruner!! I can barely to get myself to stake my orchids, let alone a tree.

    Yep, they are pretty interesting and beautiful. I almost buy one but I know nothing about them. Just admiring their beauty would not be enough for me to keep them alive.

    I think it was chained to prevent it from getting stolen.
