    I have a variation of this one, but despite it's fruity name-- Spathoglottis plicata 'Sobert Tropical Punch'-- I didn't notice any fragrance from it either.
    By the way, great find for just $2!!

    yes looks like Spathoglottis plicata and it was so nice of you to get an extra one to give to me ...I do love the fragrance of this species...Grape soda

    Ron, are you telling me that in your 500+ orchid collection, you do not have a Spath Plicata?
    I actually bought 2 because I mailed them to myself (from Puerto Rico) and thought that at least one would make it alive back to snowy, freezing NYC.
    I just got them today and they're both absolutely fine!!
    If they do well for me, I'd be happy to give you a division in the Spring.
