    I just love that orchids can grow on the side of the road in south florida. Blooming like crazy!

    I will live in south florida someday, I swear I will!

    My father lives in Fort Lauderdale, and if only I could get him interested in keeping orchids...unfortunately, he's more of the "hawaiian-shirt wearing, harley-riding" type of guy :-( He has no idea what he's missing!!

    These are really beautiful Spathoglottis plicata - has anyone tried to keep them at home? It appears they can become quite large...
