Thread: Can anyone identify this plant with bulbous root

    Default Can anyone identify this plant with bulbous root

    The OH found this in his greenhouse and neither one of us can remember what it is. It seems to have a bulbous root. Would appreciate any help in ID. Oh yeah it has not bloomed yet. Hmmmm I wonder if it blooms?

    It reminds me of a water lily type leaf...very interesting one there. Can't wait to find out what this one is!

    If it is, the flowers are great in salads. They taste peppery and are really pretty too.

    what size pot are we looking at? Although the leaves are Nasturtium-shaped...they look too thick for Nasturtiums. I don't recall Nasturtiums having a bulbous root either

    It's a 4" pot Ron and you're right the leaves are sort of thick. What do you think?
