Growing Prosthechea vitellina

Hello all, I have recently bought a Prosthechea vitellina, formerly called Encyclia vitellina. Here is a link to the information and picture of this orange beauty.

I would like all members who grow this specie and other cool growing orchids to contribute and share their experience. I am basically interested in knowing whether this plant will adapt to warm conditions, so if anyone is growing it in warm to conditions (80-90+ F) please let me know.

ne can push the envelope with culture but to get full adaption is not usually possible. This species dry rest should be fairly cool

I had one years ago that I grew in my un-airconditioned apartment in Queens, NY. Summers regularly got into the 80's and it did not bother it at all. It bloomed twice a year for me. Sadly, I gave it away for some reason and have never been able to find another one.
