C. Porcia "Westonbirt"

This one is bigger than my other Porcia. It has 7 flowers, 6 are open. There were 2 spikes but the other one broke for some reason.

Sorry to hear about yours. I guess I'm just lucky to got a hold of these Porcias. I got them from a guy who's been growing orchids for over 40 years and he's very knowledgeable. I learn a lot every time I go to his greenhouse, and he has an awesome collection. He told me that he acquired some of his plants as a trade from the Arboretum where he lives.

Very beautiful flowers Marissa, I like the sheen on the petals and the nice lip; the bowringiana parentage is quite dominant. Very healthy plant too, although it's true it grows quite big.

I am a fan of Portias ! Do you have the coerula as well ? I also love the large growth size of these beautities, I hope they impart it to their offspring.
