    Default Blc Chia Lin ‘New City' blooming

    This is a very reliable plant for its flowers... The throat is especially nice in my opinion.

    I have the "Super Gold" clone. This one is beautiful too. I also love the fragrance!!

    I just love this cattleya. I bought the plant in June or July 2007 as a "one year to bloom" plant. However, this is its first blooming.
    I expected two flowers because there were two buds in the sheath, but another bud just froze and did not develop into flower.

    The flower is pretty big, 6,5". Petals are 3,5"x2 3\4", sepals are 3,5 " x 1,5" and the lip is 3,5" x 3".
