Masdies not my thing

Not sure what happened here. Maybe to warm, maybe to cold? The leaves just started to fall off when they were green. I'm not touching them anymore for a while.

Sorry. We only grow one Masdie because most cannot take the heat here. Hope they pull through for you.

OOOOOHHH brings back bad memories-I killed a couple of Masdies when I first started growing orchids. They were supposedly "warmth tolerant". Everything was okay until a few 90+ degree days . Not my thing either.

What species/hybrid?

Minaret (in water) and Ahlenberger Vollmond. I've pretty much written them off but I'm trying some water culture to get them back (see what happens).

I grow a few of the warmer growing speceis but I keep them close to the humidifier and fan. I also put them in a pretty free draining medium. They like water but don't seem to like to stay wet so sphag. has never worked for me. I just make sure I water them a couple times a week.
