    Default Just a wee thing

I've had this plant for quite some time -- at least 5yrs, probably considerably longer. It has -- at least for me -- proven to be quite durable. Heaven knows I've never pampered it though a little pampering or at least attention now and then would likely make it happier. Blooms every so often for me. I've seen some very nice specimens at shows.

Enc polybulbon -- a true mini, flower is about 1cm across. No fragrance. Mounted

It is really cute. I like seeing the minis ones like this. It is so amazing how beautiful they are and how tiny. Thanks.

    Cheers,

Yes, that's a cute and beautiful bloom. It's not always easy to photograph small object, did you use macro lens for the picture?

Don't have a separate macro lens, Liz. Just used an inexpensive Pentax Optio 555 digital camera. Despite being a 'cheap' camera, it generally does a very nice job when taking shots on the 'macro' setting.

Lucky you! I had one of these for about 2 years w/ no blooms before I finally traded it.

    Do you grow it mounted?

I also have heard is smells- like coconut. Have you noticed anything?
