this is former dendrobium wenzelii and endemic to leyte, i believe. the growth is very unusual as the upper leaves turn orange and the buds are forming inside.
lovely plant even if not in bloom.

That guy does have a really unique growth structure, as well as nifty blooms. A complete unknown to me before this. Thanks for sharing Ron.

Nice one... I do have this Leyte endemic Dendrobium subgenus Aporum wenzellii at home and it grows well... I loved all Philippine plants...
Ron, it's really one extraordinary orchid. That means I have good take care of my plant. Until now now visible problem. It is growing well and I'm waiting for first flowers.
