This plant is flowering in my greenhouse already second time and I labelled it as Pholidotia chinensis. I'm wondering if our friend from Vietnam and China could confirm my ÍD.

Ohhh, I love the soft peach color and the semi-transparent petals, very pretty![]()
Hello,
I got the same plant, much smaller though.
It has the same label.
So I wld assume you got it right.
I read somewhere it is also called 'rattlesnake orchid', which refers to the form of the flower when it starts budding.
Hope mine will become as beautifull as yours.
Brgds,
Rudy
How do you people take such breathtaking pictures?????
the flower seems to have been sprinkled with crystal dust.
Very Beautiful! Really like to get one. What type of light and temps does it require?
WOW, what a wonderful blooming!!
Congrats!!
I think you are right and your plant is Pholidota chinensis.
Take a look

I have a Pholidota plant but it is Pholidota imbricata
My Pholidota has smaller flowers than yours. (I guess I must get Pholidota chinensis now, too!!)

Rick, 100 mm macro lens, digital camera, ring flash and Ligghtroom 2. It's all.
Bill, I'm growing my Pholidotia, together with all my orchids, in a greenhouse. Winter time, 12-15 °C, sommer 25-30 °C. From March until October I'm using shadowing mat, 50% light transparency. This plant is native to Yunnan province of China and there dominate similar condition.
very stunning orchid and pix!
