Noid Oncid spike finally has buds!

I ended up with two lonely little flowers on my 3 ft. spike. This is the first bud to open. The top petal hasn't straightened yet...hopefully it will eventually. But here is my unknown oncidium.

First; against a white background...anything else and the flower glows brilliant yellow and you can't see any details at all.



And against my hand to show it's size. It's almost the size of a nickel. It took two days to open, so this may get a little larger.
