Schomburgkia first bloom (no id)

So here is the new Schomburgkia in bloom. I've been online all morning trying to compare it to online pictures. Maybe someone has seen one just like it? So far it looks alot like a Humboltii...as far as color goes. But the lines and the yellow in the throat look like Tibicinis to me. Sigh...cross maybe? They aren't huge flowers...as you can see in the picture with my hand. (i had thought all shomb's had big flowers)







When it is completely bloomed out I promise to update the pics. There are already two more buds beginning to open this afternoon....so this shouldn't take too long.

I edited a couple of the pictures to get a better close-up and noticed the green dots at the tips of each petal....something I've noted on Humboltii.

Actually, there is only one spike, but it has two small branches off the main spike.

I can't help with the ID, but I really like the flowers. The touch of green is lovely.

Love your flower. I have seen smaller and more clustered blooms on some varieties. Saw and photographed some real beauties at SEPOS show at Longwood Gardens. i just bought a small plant and am hoping it blooms for me. i really like the flower on yours and will be watching for an ID.
