Hi Zainal,
I'm just wondering about the intensive colour of your flowers. Are they selected clones? My flowers are not so deep blue and the pattern is also not so distinctive.
very nice zain!
i thought your conditions were too hot for these, well grown!
Hi Ron,
I agree with you night temperature 24 degree Celsius seldom go down to 23 and daytime up to 34 to 36 degree Celsius however this species still can bloom here that is very strange, my previous experience I got jungle plant also can flower. My luck maybe you can try your area I do believe far away from equator, shouldn't be a problem .

It's (1) the clone ,(2) the light at a certain stage in bud development , and (3) the culture.
Here in UK I have maybe 150-200 Vandas, and always have some in flower ; people say "you can't grow Vandas in UK - the light is not good enough " which I have been showing to be nonsense for getting on for 20 years now... But my flower colour depends largely on the recent weather . Some light blue Vanda crosses can appear almost a dirty grey colour when we have a long grey-sky winter spell.
I recently flowered a V coerulea ( think I showed it here ) which pleaed me a lot, amd amazed me with the longevity of the flowers - some 2 months from having the first six flowers out to having the last six out and reluctantly cutting the spike and taking the plant back to the greenhouse. But Zain - if I give you 10/10 for colour here, mine was only 6 or 7 . And you culture has to be tops for this result. Great stuff.
I've got one in Thailand as well, its doing magic for me, blooming in the full sun, with daytime temperatures at times going above 30, and he loves it!!!
Kind regards,
Wouter
Salam En. Zain,
