    Your phalaenopsis orchids can not live without some nutrients. This just proves how very adaptable they are and how much of their 'food' comes from the air and water (you said filtered and not distilled water). Great job! AL

    Orchidsal, Yes Filtered Water, we have a filtering apparatus at home for drinking water and I only water my Phals with that water.
